“I live in Golden Bay and work in Canada. A bit of a commute but it’s easier than one might think. Really happy that The GB Weekly in now online although it just makes me miss the Bay even more. No worries though, as I will be back soon and I hear the fishing is starting to improve.” Russ.
“We come down to Golden Bay on our holidays every year, one of New Zealand’s best kept secrets and we hope it stays that way.” Fred.
“I read The GB Weekly online every Sunday morning over breakfast. It’s great to catch up with what’s happening between visits where I get hold of a copy whenever I can.” Matt Goodger.
“I’ve pined for the Bay the whole time I’ve been away, having not found anywhere else that I love as much. I only recently discovered that The GB Weekly had gone online, and enjoy reading the articles. Fortunately I’m finally moving back to the Bay in less than a month so I’ll be able to get my regular Friday fix very soon. Thanks for your wonderful GB Weekly team - it’s helped me stay in touch with goings on during my (self-imposed) exile.” Beck Brumwell.
“We live in Wellington and have a house at Tata Beach. We come over monthly and feel a part of the community that just isn’t there all the time. Reading The GB Weekly every week keeps us in touch with what’s going on.” Christine Pullar.
“I was brought up at Ligar Bay, in the little house with the ivy growing on it. I left the Bay in ‘94, now live in Oz, but still have close friends and connections there. I love reading the weekly online and recognising familiar faces and names...love the whitebaiting banter going on....and love the colour pics...keep up the good work GB Weekly!” Tracey Mitchell.
“As Golden Bay’s representative in Wellington, it’s very important that I keep up with what’s happening in the Bay. Although I can’t visit every week, reading The GB Weekly every week keeps me informed of what’s going on in the Bay.“ Chris Auchinvole.
