Arthritis educator offering free appointments
If you, or someone in your family, have arthritis, information and support are only a phone call away.
Arthritis educator Helen Saul, from the Nelson Bays office of Arthritis New Zealand in Nelson, is offering free 45-minute appointments on Wednesday 15 April at the Heartland Service Centre. Talk over how you are managing your arthritis and Helen will review your exercise, diet and other factors and suggest things to improve your health and wellbeing.
Another chance to find out more about arthritis comes on Tuesday 12 May with an afternoon seminar, this time at the Golden Bay Community Centre. Golden Bay physiotherapist Erica van Sint Annaland will talk, and there will be an interactive, gentle exercise session led by Leigh Dalzell from Green Prescription.
Arthritis New Zealand is also holding a Lucky Orange lottery nationwide, with an array of top-notch prizes, including the latest Peugeot, a HotSpring spa, travel voucher, deluxe TV, and laptops. Tickets in the Bay are available at Greypower stalls at Reynish’s Supermarket (next one Friday 1 May) or outside Take Note on Friday 17 April.
For all arthritis enquiries, please phone the Nelson Bays Service Centre of Arthritis New Zealand on 0800 663 463.
