Police report 9 April 2009
21 March: Twenty litres of Roundup herbicide and 1 litre of Silmax were reported stolen from a Takaka farm.
24 March: One black 4x4 San Yong received panel damage to the passenger’s side while it was parked temporarily at the Fresh Choice car park.
26 March: A 17-year-old Collingwood youth was charged with careless use of a motor vehicle after his vehicle left the road on the S-bends at Tukurua and came to rest on its roof. He was not injured.
27 March: A 33-year-old German tramper was reported overdue on a tramp through the Abel Tasman National Park. He was located safe and well in Golden Bay.
29 March: An 18-year-old Takaka man was apprehended for driving with excess breath alcohol.
30 March: A 21-year-old Takaka man was processed for driving with excess breath alcohol after losing control of his vehicle on Central Takaka Road.
3 April: A 28-year-old Motueka man was charged with sustained loss of traction. His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
5 April: A 19-year-old Collingwood female was arrested for trespass. She was kept in custody and appeared in court the following day.
