Welcoming the spring with a free outdoor concert

Fresh FM is a Community Access radio station buzzing with life, and Sunday 6 September will find the Takaka studio really come alive with a free live-to-air concert in the courtyard at the Golden Bay Workcentre. Everyone is welcome.
Guests include the Golden Bay Orchestra; Zing World Choir; Noodles (Tina Bridgman, Dale Westerink and Purple) who play funky Celtic; Grio; and members of one of the many local ukulele bands. Hosted by Martine Bouiller, the concert will be a great way to shake off the winter blues.
Fresh FM Takaka studio co-ordinator Paddy Brennan is keen to see lots of people come along to add to the atmosphere of the event and watch some of the Fresh FM programme makers and friends in action.
H.A.N.D.S. will be holding a market from 12.00 to 2.30pm in the courtyard with lots of stalls and food.
The Workcentre will be celebrating its 30th Birthday, and some of the varied Workcentre businesses will also be open on the day.
So welcome in the spring with Fresh FM, H.A.N.D.S. and the Workcentre on Sunday 6 September, 12 noon to 2pm, 84 Commercial Street, Takaka.
Fresh FM 104.8 Tasman 95.2 Eastern Golden Bay 95.4.
