The GB Weekly would look better with a re-designed masthead.
The GB Weekly would look better with a re-designed masthead....
I support the installation of surveillance cameras in the Takaka CBD
I am generally satisfied with standards of service and presentation in Golden Bay businesses.
The Joan Whiting Home must be allowed to continue to operate until the integrated facilty is ready.
Bay businesses should specifically train their staff to provide good service.
Is it a good idea to continue to publish the tide chart in The GB Weekly?
Neil Wilson says "The budget cut is a serious mistake. The Government does have to make some savings in the current situation but this is not a sensible place to make savings. New Zealand gets real returns, tangible and intangible, from the money spent on ACE. It's especially important in isolated rural areas like Golden Bay. The Government got an unexpected divvie from Mighty River Power and I think they should spend it on ACE."

The dismissive and disrespectful description "hobby classes" shows a failure to grasp the importance of people {especially older people) having an opportunity to pursue an interest, extend their social circle - and make use of expensive community facilities (schools) which remain empty and unused once the kids go home. While greedy cabinet ministers see nothing wrong in rorting thousands of dollars housing allowances, you might ponder if cutting ACE funds is the best place to save money."
