Anatori Retreat offers rest and natural therapies “One woman at a time”

During the 26 years they have farmed at Anatori, Michele and Brett Hart have enjoyed sharing their special place with others.
After relaxing in their comfortable farmhouse with magnificent sea views over the Tasman Sea, whizzing down the beach on a quad bike to gather fresh mussels for dinner, or kayaking up a tranquil river to a hidden lake, visitors have always left with an appreciation of the lifestyle and most invigorating coastal scenery.
Two years ago Michele commissioned a website advertising her “one woman at a time” Anatori Retreat, and now women come from as far afield as Queenstown, Auckland and Australia to stay there.
Michelle’s facilities now include an infrared sauna, spa, satellite internet, a great library, ionised water, and organic foods. Also on offer are various therapies that are all inclusive in the $125 per day flat rate. These include relaxation, trauma and stress-releasing therapies, and bentonite clay baths.
“I have found fitness is good but I need the mind, spirit and body connection to be nurtured as well,” says Michele. “The love, joy, and compassion of Jesus is very real to me through prayer and fellowship.” Coming successfully through two occurances of breast cancer, the last being 10 years ago, has been a highly formative experience for Michele.
“It was working on my own health that really inspired me to open the retreat. I have done a lot of health study and enjoy sharing it with others in this truly inspiring coastal environment.”
