Community Houses at the Cobb
I was delighted to read about the continuing use of the Cobb Houses (11 June) and the enjoyment that local families get from them.
We lived in one of those houses when my husband (Graeme) was the gatekeeper at the dam. In 1989, when Electricorp planned to demolish those houses, Graeme wrote a letter to The Nelson Mail to save them. In this he was successful, but at a high personal cost. The following week Graeme had to sign a confidentiality agreement and was silenced. A fortnight’s pay was reversed from our bank account without warning. At the end of that month he lost his job and we were evicted from our house in Upper Takaka at very short notice. Seeing families enjoying those houses 20 years later makes it all seem worthwhile.

2012: Astrophysical effects on humanity
Many questions have been asked about the relevance of the astrophysical energies arriving during this 2012 era.
We (with our personal surrounding auric egg) live within the earth atmospheric bubble which is within our solar system bubble (heliosphere) which is within our galaxy’s auric bubble (called galactic halo).
Each of these bubbles are Living Intelligences. Religions call them Angelic Being Bodies inhabiting different dimensions (Galactic Angel, Solar Angel, Planetary Angel, us), science calls them plasma clouds of differing densities, each are both self-contained (encased within their auric shell), yet similar to all others (fractal or as above so below). Each auric bubble contains onion-skin-like subshells (eg we have physical, emotional, mental, spiritual auric subshells, Sun has planet orbit radii subshells).
Our sun (Solar Angel) communicates to his/her solar system via the 11-year sunspot cycle. Astrophysicist Paul LaViolette has proven our Galactic Angel communicates to the galactic substations (Solar Angels) in 13,000 year cycles (Mayan 2012).
Our solar system is upgrading to a new vibratory level, (in our case the frequency of compassion, leading to a unified society, a coherent Group Soul based on truth, which will then be graced with the extended skills required to enter the already coherent galactic wide society).

Haka powhiri at Collingwood Area School
I was chuffed to be invited to Collingwood Area School’s end of term assembly. This was a special assembly where parents and whanau and other members of the community were invited to be part of haka powhiri. We were greeted and welcomed and then treated to a spine-tingling haka powhiri. What a fantastic experience the senior school put on for us all. The students looked the part with feathers in their headbands, young men in black shorts and young women in long black dresses with yellow Maori patterns running from top to bottom. They looked and sounded so professional. Pride seemed to ooze from their eyes, and from the eyes of everyone watching. They sang strong and their actions were confident. Congratulations to Whaea Gussie, her assistants and every one of her students. We are so blessed to have you all in this community. Go, you Collingwood kids. You are awesome!

Joan Whiting Jamboree
The Joan Whiting Board of Trustees would like to thank the Golden Bay Community for their overwhelming support at the Jamboree. We raised $13,000 which exceeded all expectations. Community support for the Joan Whiting Rest Home is outstanding as illustrated by the hardy souls who walked, ran or dived into the cold winter waters; the generous donations of goods and services for sale and auction; and all the willing helpers who made it happen. Despite the obvious bargains to be had, purchasers were generous to a T. Special thanks go to our dedicated fundraising committee and the staff who gave up their free time to contribute. We are truly blessed to live in this community.
