Collingwood RSA stalwart John Etheredge, centre, was honoured recently with the award of a badge and certificate marking 20 years of meritorious service to the association. “The biggest thing about being involved with the RSA has been the terrific range of interesting people I’ve met,” says John, who did his National Service in 1964. “Everyone in born this country since the last world war has had it pretty good because of what serving people went through. It’s important to keep taking care of the service-people and their widows.” Neil Wilson
