The Heart Foundation will launch its next lottery, which includes the top prize of a brand new, fully furnished Jennian dream home in Golden Bay, on January 24, 2011.
Tickets for the lottery go on sale on January 24 and close on March 18. It is the first time the Nelson region has been selected as the location for the lottery’s first place prize.
The three-bedroom Jennian dream home is situated at 14 Kohikiko Place, Pohara, and has a registered valuation of $430,000. Golden Bay was chosen as it is a very popular spot during the holiday season and is generally a quiet, retirement location for the balance of the year.
The home is open to view every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 2-4pm or by appointment with Jennian Homes. Interested people should contact Annie Telford on 03 525 9496 or visit the Jennian showroom at 22 Commercial Street, Takaka to make an appointment.
To buy tickets, participants need to join the Heart Foundation’s Lottery mailing list. Please phone our lottery support team on 0800 750 150 or go to www.heart.org.nz <http://www.heart.org.nz>.
The total prize pool of Lottery no. 68 is worth close to half a million dollars and other prizes include overseas holidays for two to Thailand and Melbourne. Those who purchase two or more tickets will go into the draw to win a brand new Toyota vehicle.
The Heart Foundation is the charity working to stop New Zealanders dying prematurely from heart disease. Cardiovascular disease (heart disease and stroke) is tearing our families apart unnecessarily and prematurely. Thirty-eight per cent of all deaths annually are attributed to cardiovascular disease, making it the leading cause of death in New Zealand.
As a charity, the Heart Foundation relies on the generosity of the public to support it by purchasing tickets in its lottery. Such support is critical to the continuation of its life-saving work: funding vital heart research, continuing education of cardiologists, improving heart disease risk assessment and cardiac care and promoting heart-healthy lifestyles.
